Sitting here after posting a meet on the site. No one wanting to meet a poor single guy that can accommodate so a wee dram is the order of the day. Any other whisky buffs out there have decided on a Deanston 12 year old !!

Ah whisky a man after my own heart been drinking whisky since my uncle introduced me to the magic liquid at the age of 24 opened a bottle of macalum threw the cork in the fire and told me we wouldn't go to bed until it was finished lol moving on 18 years still the same when I visit and every time I visited I had to bring a bottle so do enjoy the water of life . Drinking highland park 20 year old mmmm sipping it over ice and no water the true way to enjoy a dram mmmm

First class ! Had a terrible experience on whisky when I was younger. When I hit forty and had a party I kindly received many lovely malts. Two choices give them away or try and enjoy ?

Never looked back since. Love it ! ??

If im not drinking chardonnay its whisky and irn bru .

Other alternatives are Glavar or Drambui straight.

could go a wee Glavar right now actually lol

I have quite a collection of whisky these days. I'm currently drinking Jura which is a great every day whisky. I love a Tobermory though, for a special occasion! X

C had a few nice whiskies he sold at McTears. Went to the Pot Still to sample some of them and spent the best part of £100 on 2 nips!

We do like our whiskies.

I am not actually a big drinker of Whisky but do like the occasional nip.. But in my line of work I regularly get gifted a bottle and have had some nice whiskys such at MacCallan Gold & Bowmore 15yr old Darkest....but one I was gifted was a bottle of Old Pulteney 23yr Old in solid wooden case which I later found out is a very limited edition and worth over £200...Have opened that one yet...

If your including juice save your money and go for a blend. Just my recommendation lol! Enjoying an old pultney at the moment, that 23 year old sounds amazing though. Enjoy peeps

My dad always said that ice gave you hangovers. Mind you he put lime in his to kill the taste of the whisky.

There is no point in buying good malt to put ice or mixers in! Currently got Aberlour for casual drinking and Glenferclas 105 (105 proof in old money!) - it needs 3 drops of water!

Amazed at the number of whisky snobs on here too. If you like mixer in your whisky go ahead. As long as you don't put any in mine you can do what you want with yours.

Theres no way or any other soft drink should be put in a malt whisky,in Famouse Grouse, Bells etc thats fine, ohh and if you drink it with ice,water or on its own enjoy it. I drink mine with one lump of ice with the Speyside or Highland malts being my faviorite.
