See this guy quit minutes before a disciplinary meeting yesterday. The guy has no remorse. It's scandalous that no criminal action has been taken against him.

I feel for the families who have had to go through this with the enquirer and everything when the guy could easily have saved a lot of grief and hassle. No sympathy for him whatsoever, I hope Police Scotland do something about him!!

The police are bad enough persecuting innocent people. With a guy like this.... Basically he's fucked. Think they have stung him for something already.

So he should be. A pathetic waste of space. I felt for him to start with but with all the facts coming out about him there is none whatsoever.

The poor families have to live with this for the rest of their lives.

It's not persecution when a man who has a history of blacking out at the wheel and has already killed and seriously injured numerous people continues to drive without a license. The police are doing their job.

I think there will be more to come with this man who has a complete disregard for other people around him

Angus & Findhorn

he seems a very selfless man, to resign before being dismissed....

he was thinking about others and offering up his role to them.

Not that it may look better.

We've not heard the last of Harry. I expect a claim for constructive dismissal any day.

Qualifications for defending this man being able to stoop so low you could limbo dance under a snakes belly. Six deaths used in a rope a dope exercise is the ultimate in sickness

Its not uncommon for people to be advised to resign if disciplinary is likely to result in dismissal ... However if they had grounds for summary dismissal then he wont have a leg to stand on with constructive dismissal

He knew he shouldn't have been driving in December, he killed those people in cold blood, hence the murderer statement,

at a very minimum he should be charged with vehicular manslaughter.

He intentionally drove after intentionally witholding vital information about his medical history to suit his own needs and greed

I agree that he should have been charged with manslaughter. But it's never murder

no it's not. He didn't go out to kill them. It's death by dangerous driving. He's a scumbag from what we've read and seen since the accident. But he's not a murderer.

He know he wasn't fit to drive just like when a d*unk gets behind the wheel so that's just an accident.

When a d*unk driver kills someone that's not murder either unfortunately. It's death by dangerous driving under the influence of drink or drugs. Not murder.

He should be face a criminal trial after what happened but it's not murder.

to be murder, an element of premeditation is required. He didn't set out to kill.

Don't get me wrong, he is very much culpable but legally, it not murder.. Morally....

"I didn't say legally "

you said he murdered in cold blood. That is factually wrong.

your quote was: "he killed those people in cold blood, hence the murderer statement,"

He didn't do that. the guy had a fit. yes he should never have been driving, but he didn't go out to kill those people. that's what murder means. thats what you called him. He didn't murder those poor souls

"Let's agree to disagree "

Nothing to disagree about.

The definition of murder basically is someone who sets out to kill some other person. The guy didn't do that. Not hard to understand.

In the eyes of the law, and by definition he didn't commit murder. Dress it up any way you like but he didn't murder anyone.

He's a scumbag who deserves more than he got in terms of no criminal conviction, but he's not a murderer.
