Quite a few photos on the site seem to be of people taking a selfie of themselves - what's that all about - are they trying to show everyone they own a smartphone?

I think a lot of people have smart phones... Most have pretty good cameras... Most folk take selfies for lots of social media... So why not fab, it's easy to do and easy to upload... I don't think there's anything to wonder about. It's just part of what people do now
