I've got a bad cold. The full bhuna, runny nose, hot head, bunged up feeling behind the eyes, snuffly.

Anyone got a tried and tested cure I could try?

Bx

No idea, I'm lost. Damn Sat nav!

I had it too at the beginning of the week.

I bought Benylin 4flu and I must admit it's rank but definitely helped

Same, choked. A hot shower and a lesson helps, then it starts to build up again

Does Vicks on feet work? How? And do you have Vicks smelling feet in the morning?

Yes it works, no idea how, and no you don't smell of it the next day.

My nana used to do it when we were children and its something we have always used as a cure.

Also, if its really bad, warm up some lemonade until the bubbles go, and take it with paracetamol! NO idea why, but it helps.

Honey, lemon and ginger in tea, with some cinnamon and cayenne pepper, tastes disgusting but works.

YES! A friend of mine recently introduced me to amazing Asian green tea. The only place that sells it is the Asian supermarket just off pollocshaws road (beside the mosque). White floral packet at the medicine aisle.

One cup and your cold will vanish - I promise you that! I got some last week and was back to normal next day x

Paracetamol and hot drinks. Not lemsip, there's minimal active ingredient in them.

Inhale steam too, before you go to bed, thins the mucus and helps to reduce the inflammation

Lemsip is just a big con. It's overpriced paracetamol... couple of paracetamols n blackcurrant or orange juice is just the same

The best thing in world and if you take reasonably regular is Manuka honey one spoonful a day if well will keep colds flus tummy bugs etc away if got cold already one spoon morning and night will cure you in two days honestly is a wonder food. Manuka honey is used on wound dressings and now using it in sprays to kill superbugs in hospitals it even kills mrsa bug it is honey collected from bees that only collect nectar from Manuka bushes in New Zealand and is medically proven not an old wives tale apparently all the djs and singers take it to ward off throat bugs
