Very random post but you should read up on it a bit more lol it wasn't like Spartacus & other programs like it

Most house slaves used for house duties & other "indulgences" were mostly children.

When soldiers went off to battle they would usually take a pre pubecent boy to replace their wives while they were gone

Don't think it's my type of era but each to their own lol

Apart that the guys wasnt allowed in army, neither on market and punished to death for being trying on young people, yes you can called it guy society.Never the less I think you are refering to Athens ,not other cities like Sparta,Answering to your question- neither were you,but keep on dreaming

You are correct but there was no such thing as Ancient Greece, just a loose collection of city states each with their own distinct identities. The Athenians were known as boy-lovers and thinkers, the Argives were horse masters, the Spartans just nut-job fighters who won battles but never managed to win the peace......

For some you have a slave class or a slave race for others it was a rigid meritocracy and those that didn't make the grade fell into slavery.

Oh god, all those years at school studying classics and reading Ecce Romani has actually paid off

My latin teacher would be so proud of me...other than the swinging forum bit of course.
