How long does it take for an admin to diffuse slander with someones status?

And yes it's a single guy who took rejection to a level of slander and abuse

It can take a wee while I'm afraid...but they'll get there. I wouldn't worry unduly. It always reflects badly on the poster NOT their victim.

5 hours now it's been there and still not removed. I've reported it 4 times and so has the other half.

I wouldn't mind if it was just something mild but with what he's said it's just down right evil and can do a lot of damage

It's not nice but as others have said is says more about the sad people who use their statuses to vent at others .

It will get removed but very frustrating xx

You realise by reporting it multiple times you are clogging up the admin box for only one issue

They wont get to you quicker because you report more often or shout louder

If the people in front of you have done the same its probably part of the reason its taking them so long to reach your request and in turn you have added to the wait for the people behind you in the queue

Be patient and let admin do their job as quick as they can

As an admin(not for fab) I would say no more than once an hour for complaints otherwise people can just ignore them

He/she/ they ... My comment still stands either way ... It wasnt an opinion because i thought it was male ... More about the irony of adding to the problem thats frustrating them

My humble opinion is that over four hours is a scandalous amount of time for blatantly slanderous comments to remain visible on a site which invites members to pay subscriptions.

I'd keep reporting and complaining till I was blue in the face if I was in that position. And ...I have been. So, I know how upsetting and infuriating it is.

I saw it too Kola. The guy was bang out of order with what he said and his IP address should be blocked, IMO.

I've had my work address on show in someone's status before. Luckily it was only there about 40 mins, but had it been hours I'd have been at admin constantly until it was removed.

Report and Block....Which youve done.

Why does it matter how long it takes ?

Just move on from it .
