So today is D day, the rest of the flats are finally coming down the end of an era

Anyone else heading over to see them being demolished? Meant to be 11am but think it will be more like 2pm

Was thinking of going as my daughter had asked. Not sure of confirmed time though or where to watch from.

I'd say best bit is at barmulloch where the old flats used to be, if it's dry then no mud

As for time nothing has been confirmed yet

Yes, it's looking like the afternoon. It also looks like quite a big exclusion zone on the map.

Heard there was going to be some banging around the red road - thought we should check that out.

Bit disappointed when we heard what they meant, but we're there now, and we have food and a carry out, so feck it!

The crowds's getting restless! Think their forgetting that it's not an actual 'show'. It's like: "Entertain us! Blow some shit up already!"

To be fair, it's probably the burger vans and bouncy castle that lends to the festival atmosphere!

Rock on! THUNDER. . . . Na-na-na-na . . . .

Think there should have been a spoiler alert for those watching the re-run . . . now they know how it ends! They all die (kinda).

E.K . Glasgow

Feeling the earth move in an altogether different way . My lasting memory of the place is seeing some poor soul who had jumped from one of the flats in Petershill Drive splattered on the ground below in the 80's .
