It was changed due to the weather, I doubt they were doing it deliberately to annoy motorists.

I didn't for one minute think they were. However given the amount of traffic that traverse the bridge, and the rail bridge since it was shut, it's pretty important that you get it as right as you can.

The Scottish weather can change rather suddenly, quite likely the reason for the time changes.
