Is the economy really that bad. More and more "single" or "separated" guys back home living with mom and dad.

Ruining my fun lol

Depends how long is acceptable, a few weeks, maybe a month or two but any longer and I'm afraid it's just wrong if they are over 25

My comment may come across as strange considering the type of site we are on but I find hotels for a quick play a bit seedy especially if it's the 1st time. Weekends away now that's a different story ??

if it's a nice nice hotel room why is it seedy? At the end of the day it's a bed with the same outcome anyway and mutual ground for both parties too.

As a single woman this is very off putting for me . I understand some situations mean it has to be a temporary measure. Relationship breakdowns etc. However long term without an escape plan is just wrong. Especially over 35. I think the same applies to women too.

It's probably not ideal for anyone, but if someone is thinking that's what they have to do to give themselves a good standard of living then fair play to them, and in some ways shows a bit of character, I'm sure they would rather have it any other way.

So as for not meeting someone for living at their parents, get over yourself a bit and look at the person not the situation. Think about yourself in that situation, your life doesn't have to stand still because it's not suiting other people.

My preference is to meet guys who can accommodate. I won't host until I've had a few meets with a guy and fully comfortable with him. I don't discriminate against those living with parent as I won't meet guys who have flat mates, live with siblings or are separated but still living in the martial home.

I appreciate everyone has different reasons and can accept that however I would like to think others can accept I have my own reasons for not wanting to meet someone who can't accommodate

Sorry if I've offended you with this post.

It's not always a bad thing staying with parents I did the same when I separated (before I met Mrs S), I must have stayed with my dad for about a year. During the break up/separation, I wasn't made of money as my hand was in my pocket still paying for the mortgage and keeping kids in good clothes etc, this left me no spare money that I could use to save up for my own place or pay rent for a place that I would have wanted to bring someone home too. These days when there is no good cheap quality affordable housing, most places I wouldn't let a dog sleep in being considered as affordable then it's the best most will be able to do is stay with friends/parents in the spare room.

Make the most of it and enjoy what hotels are being offered as a option.

As some of us realise we are one or two pay checks away from being homeless ourselves these days.

I stayed with my dad for a few years(and was doing ok for meets..sometime sneaky homers, he didnt mind single girls, but I knew bringing couples in wouldnt be a great idea)..weirdly I thought when I moved out into my own space I'd get more action...
