Was wondering has any of you lovely people experienced this ?

I currently have them and the pain is unbelievable. Anyone any tips

Plenty fresh beetroot and lots of fluids as well as a horse tranquillizer!

Lemonade or lemon juice, Pomegranate juice, and kidney beans all have properties to help ease the symptoms.

The pain of kidney stones has been likened to childbirth...have you picked a name yet?

They are awful. You have my sympathies. As others have said fluids are key..I also found baths helped ease the pain a little..

I feel your pain. Don'ts include;

Cotton bud down the japs with rubbing alcohol.

Syringe with aloe lub down japs...

I didn't know it was stones!

Quick op healed the scaring from the broken stones scraping the bladder.

Its an experience when the scope goes down the wee man!!

My mother always says about kidney stones, "I've had 2 natural births but that pain doesn't come anywhere close to the pain of passing kidney stones".

my hubbie had them and one got lodged in the tube from kidney to bladder n tore it never saw him cry till he had that

Ouch I feel your pain suffered the horrid things for 2 years up and down to hospital. Eventually got my gall bladder removed. He at helps ie hot bath hot water bottle x

Oh, you poor thing! I've given birth and have tattoos, by far the worse pain was with gall stones.

The morphine didnt touch it! Wishing you a speedy surgery and recovery xxx

I can safely say, even as a sadist/masicist I never really found the experience to enjoyable, though the nurse who to me to the op room, before sleep time, well she and I were flirting like crazy, sure she could see my hard on.....

My ex got a suppository to easy the pain he was getting . He passed 6 stones in a week.

Must admit I was a cruel cow as kept teasing him

I wish mine had passed naturally. Had two now, and both got stuck. Had one start of last month they had to remove. Was on morphine for 4 days!

I had one earlier this year got stuck between my kidney and bladder. I thought I was dying. Honestly thought I was dying. Never felt anything like it. Luckily I think I passed it when d*unk coz next time I went to hospital it was gone. It's the worst pain ever. I'd rather get kicked in the balls.
