No idea, I'm lost. Damn Sat nav!

I'm on Scottish slimmers plan and loving it.

Always thought slimming world was good too but now prefer Scottish slimmers.

To be fair any of the slumming plans work if you follow them to a T.

Good luck with your weight loss

Just started a healthy eating plan after the pounds have piled on

Not all diets work for everyone tho it depends in your own body tried few over the years ...

Best thing worked for me yrs ago was cutting out salt and eat fresh no processed ,,, or a magic wand and the pounds drop off lol

diets dont work, take it from a guy that lost 5 stone,i made up a wee motto and it works wonders Diets have end by dates, healthy living is for life. your biggest challenge is finding the right stuff to eat.

I lost a stone in 6 weeks. Used my fitness pal and map my walk on phone.

.Watched what I was eating and walked lots. It's amazing how easy it is to loose when u actually watch what your eating.

Look up bodybuilding dot com.

Choose a workout that suits your needs, whether it is just losing weight or turning it into muscle they will have a workout and also a diet recipe guide to go with it. I lost more bodyfat this way by changing my diet to healthy meals and not eating junk or processed food. Also feel better and more energetic after it.

Mr C.

Also forgot to mention, its free. They try to sell you some products but only as a recommendation. I have found some really good recipe guides though.

I've tried lots of fad diets. None have really worked for me and I've lost and gained weight for years.

Now I'm trying something different.

I'm trying to find reasons not to hate my body. My hope is that way it won't seem like I'm in battle with myself. Then mentally I might actually be in a better position to either shed the extra weight or stop torturing myself and getting stuck in a vicious circle x

Halve the carbs and double the exercise. It'll fall off.

Even simpler post, just cut your calories each day. Eat what you want as long as you're eating less calories than your body burns each day, you'll lose weight.

Use my fitness pal to track what you CURRENTLY eat for a week to get a good average of your daily caloric intake, then going forward cut your total daily calories by about 500.

Throw in some exercise and you're sorted. Don't even worry about counting carbs, your diet could consist entirely of carbs and you'll still lose weight as long as your calories at the end of each day are falling short of what your body needs to maintain its current weight (which is whatever it's used to getting on a day to day basis - which you'll get from tracking your current diet on my fitness pal or a similar app)!

I've lost 5st over the past 3 years - at first the weight was falling off as I was stressed and barely eating. Then it levelled out a bit and I've been yoyoing with half a stone for ages now.

Feeling uncomfortable so I'm joining a gym on Monday and finding a way to get some exercise every day. Whether I'll feel like going to the gym after working a 13hr day is another matter lol

Couldnt reccomend water enough. It helps Fill you up, make sure your having at least one glass with your dinner to stop you going back for seconds. Try to be getting at least 6 - 8 glasses a day.

Personally im All about that salad and vegetables. Yes you can cut calories and eat what you want but a diet consisting of little bits of crap food is not gonna help in the long term. Vegetables are full of vital nutrients that are bodys need to help process fats. Fruits are a better treat than chocolates and biscuits but remember still high in sugar.

I used a simple plan when i lost weight of 1st meal breakfast high carb, 2nd meal lunch small protien + small carb + large veg, 3rd meal snack fruit or nuts, 4th dinner 1part protien 1part carb 2parts veg. If time allows a late night snack maybe nuts or dark chocolate around 75% cocoa.

Number one rule though is enjoy fresh food nothing process. what your putting in your mouth it should taste good squeeze a little lemon juice here add some spices there dont be scared too try new things. Good luck

Part of the problem I have is that 2 days a week I'm finishing one job at 4:30 and starting another at 5:30, so I have about 25/30 mins to get something to eat. Can't really make anything from scratch as it'll take too long, got into a habit of grabbing a sandwich so I need to get out of that rut

If you can make a roast chicken or tuna salad or something night before you can take it in tupperware

I'm losing weight steadily at the moment by eating healthy and getting much more exercise. Drinking at least two liters of water helps fill me up and only having a maximum of two snacks.

I don't snack, or eat anything sugary. I have stomach issues, but find that not eating anything between dinner and lunch works for me.

Your body hads no need for sugar amd it's hidden everywhere. the other name for carbs is saccharides...or sugar!

Dr Michael Moseley has some programmes on this, look him up!

Ps,I work in healthcare...

I (Gary) joined a new gym in Motherwell recently to lose some excess timber - never thought I'd say this, but quite enjoying it.

Only going twice a week at the moment for half an hour at a time, but that's more than I was doing before so I guess every little helps.
