I think the two are very different. The chemicals released by brain are different. And for some after sex they sleep yet can have a play alone several times a day and not feel that need.

Both can be intense.

Both can feel good

I'd nearly always rather have someone else as part of it.

However there's a lot to be said for just kissing as you play. It's not always about being given an orgasm.

God no. Always better with participation for me. A lot of the time I see masturbation as a means to an end more than anything else.
