Just watching this now and wonder what foods wouldnt you compromise on even if it saved you money?

For me it's got to be Lurpak butter

so what would yours be ?

It's sometime's brand snobbery but mostly if you were brought up with eg heinz beans or tomato soup nothing else comes close the amount of cheaper brands weren't around years ago

As sombody who visits supermarket suppliers regularly. I can tell you premium products and most supermarket brands and even the cheapest range can come from the same production line.

This goes for the big 4 too. Different packing same product in different stores.

Very little is changed to the basic product. Most times it is just the quantity or sugar/salt content.

And we are talking about everything here from cereals, to shampoos, crisps, tins etc.

I remember seeing a program on TV many years ago about fine fares yellow label brand was intact many label brands too
