Interested in this. Started working in Dundee this week and would be great to meet fellow fabbers.

I run drinks nights and Miss K runs Saturday lunches. There will be something between now and Christmas, I'm sure.

Nothing to stop you organising something though

I would but guaranteed if a single guy organizes a drinks night, it would be single guys that turned up lol

I don't think that's true, I would probably attend as long as I was free. And I have a fair few friends I could bring

But you won't know unless you try. It's up to you whether you want to try.

I started doing drinks nights as I felt that other than Katy's occasional lunches, there was nothing happening in Dundee and we wanted to meet people.

Must admit, being new to Dundee it is rather quiet on the fab front!

True, I worked in Glasgow and Edinburgh previously (still do) so maybe I am being a tad harsh!

It's really not, there are plenty of us here and in the surrounding area.

We're not as numerous as Glasgow, granted, but then Glasgow is a lot bigger!

The problem is that people want to go to things, meet people etc, but aren't prepared to organise anything themselves. So it's left to a few of us to grab the reins, so to speak.
