They say everyone has a book in them. Has anyone ever tried or actually written one?

I would love to write a book one day... and at present I write poetry and been lucky enough to have some in print, including being paid and winning a National Competition

I write a lot.

I have been working on a book for a few years now. I will finish it eventually.

I have also written a few short stories and blogs. In my old job I had a few articles published in financial press.

Mr writes erotic stories ( think he is in the middle of one just now) and has posted a few on here before.

Ive written over 450 poems ( my list related ocd means yes I have counted ) a lot very bad, some quite good, and have written a couple of "talking head" type monologues similar to but obviously not in the same ball park as Alan Bennett.

The female half also used to write poems but the less said about her teen angst the better

I have note books full of anecdotes and observations which I intend to be the basis for short stories, probably only for my own amusement though.
