If you have an exchange with someone but when face pics are swapped there is no attraction, do you respond with a polite no thank you or do you just ignore and delete messages?

Ive experienced both but my feelings and thoughts are if someone has taken the time to message you, you should at least give the time and respect to be direct and say no thank you.

Do you agree or disagree and why?

It's only good manners if you've at least exchanged a few mails.

Kinda depends on the message, the grammar, what the last message was like or how soon the face pic was shared. If a face pic is attached to the first or second message and it wasn't even asked for or I wasn't interested to begin with its a coin flip between me ignoring or replying that I'm not interested. If we've been chatting, I'll just downplay it and gradually phase out the chat to nowt!

A polite message is always appreciated even if there's no attraction. Honesty and respect is always the best policy in my view.

So it seems many agree, once pics are exchanged and if no interest just be polite and say not interested.

However many fems just go silent and don't reply, I find it very rude.

I don't think it's exclusive to women, however they do get the most mail out of everyone on here which may have something to do with it

I just remind them I'm not meeting and then that's usually enough. Give it a few days then ignore. If they continue to message I might block.

I hate the silent treatment or when people just delete your message without reading lol I mean cmon how do the newbies get on the scene??

People delete or ignore for many reasons. For me it's one line messages, people who blatantly haven't read the profile or men who just address me rather than both of us

What so you expect a novel on the first message I don't use that approach as see it as a waste of time because I was like that my first couple of weeks and still got no where lmao

No I don't expect a novel. I do expect more than "hi". If they can't put any effort into a first message then why would I think they'd put any effort into a meet?

Many times we've received a one line message. I always look at the profile and invariably there's one or two lines written there, so it gives me absolutely nothing to work with.

As an aside, you have been here for 6 weeks, and the OP 2 weeks. As every single man is told on here, you are in the majority and have to make yourself stand out from the crowd. No effort = no reward.

There are guys who've been here for months and have yet to get a meet. If you're resorting to one liners after such a short period of time, then you won't get far.

Thanks for the advice but will say it again after sending loads of messages with a couple paragraphs and get no where I feel the need to sit back relax and enjoy! After all if I wanted a quick shag I would go to blythswood sq lmao but I'm here for friends!! But I'm a shy guy with confidence issues so sometimes I don't know what they like to hear about me or my thoughts ....

And as I said, 6 weeks is nothing. It might take quite some time to get a meet

So people should just have sex with anyone who asks? I think not. If people don't reply to your messages then they're not interested. Move on to people who are.

It's definately a bit of a lottery for you guys. A woman can have her pick of guys so you do need to put in some effort. There are some women who'll have a quick chat then meet, however there are women who want to take some time. It's so off putting when I answer a guy and he goes crazy sending messages...just seems desperate, yuck. It's been said before but, patience.

We will tend to give a polite no thanks, we will not find everyone attractive just like they won't us, honesty is the best policy in this instance

I find it really hard if we have chatted for a while then exchanged pics and there's no attraction to say no thanks so I tend to just let the conversation fade away
