just went on sky movies to see what the update films are,

Deliverance is there, this film makes my skin crawl and throw itself of the balcony, even that tune gives me the creeps,

Am I the only one that feels this way about a film,

I love Deliverance, in fact a great reminder to watch again, was considered an epic of its time

I drew the line at hostel:

I find it bizarre that films can be classed as horror..when all they are is actually snuff movies.

I suppose theres subcategories for most genres...

I'm pretty bad with gore etc but hostel films were disgusting and I won't ever watch them again. I (f) am a total wuss anyway but too much blood etc just awful x

they had that initial..ok..this is new..but so many followed..just like those blair witch films..

I disagree, Hostel is a good "eye opener" as are the follow up movies 2 & 3;

If everyone watched them before going on holiday or going on a Road trip, the world might just be a safer place

If nothing else, all 3 movies encourage you to have your wits about you and not get smashed out of your face on drink

There are some pretty extreme and unnecessary scenes out there but only one film ever totally turned my stomach and made me think it should be banned. (and I've seen 'Animal Farm').

"A Serbian Film" is the most disgusting thing I have ever seen. It is utterly depraved and has not one redeeming feature. Although, since that's what the director set out to achieve I guess it was at least successful on those terms.

PS The Hostel series aren't snuff movies. Snuff movies feature actual deaths of actors expecting to be faking it, and there is no evidence that one has ever been made for real.

the filming of a murder is a snuff film..whether the person thinks they are starring in a movie or not, still makes it a snuff film.

hope this doesn't turn into a snuff debate, hope we keep the focus on films and whilst on films this thread has made me go look for Deliverance, been a long time since I saw this great movie.

Hostel, wrong turn and the likes are simply put, horror films made for entertainment

I have heard "the Human Centipede is bad, but have never watched it, from what I have heard, I would agree and say Human Centipede; but that is without watching as I feel I would get no benefit from watching it, and it would be a waste of 2 precious hours

Almost got it, but thought I'd read the synopsis first, totally put me off.

SALO or the 120 days of sodom, is a horrendous movie that I actually brought for a first date, the girl liked horrors and stuff like saw etc, so I went into a video store and asked the assistant for the most extreme movie they had, shop girl pulled out salo for me...went home and luckily she cancelled the date that night so thought I'd preview it in case it was rubbish...also so I could concentrate on her ...movie was sick... Not a date movie.

Walked into a room and the human centipede was on and I nearly vomited!! It was vile, and I saw two mins of it, and then they made a second one ffs
