If your looking for clubs or golf balls your getting them cheap as in all the charity shops in st Andrew. Ten balls for a pound.

Do you have a local golf store nearby like american golf ?? They will have a pro there that can talk you thru equipment ..dont just buy anything ..all clubs are different ..also look for a few starter lessons to help with grip, stance and swing ..or you can just caddie for me and polish my balls

hahaha, thanks for the offer to lug your kit and play with your balls... Might try my local golf club and see if they can help. Nearest golf shop like that is about an hour away...

Your local club should have a resident pro who will be able to sort a few lessons and try out diff makes of clubs to see what suits you ..golf can be expensive so always better to get whats right

Can't wait Ma belle

On another serious note, asked one of my friend and she says lessons are available in her club with a pro. But also the odd semi-celeb guest teachers come to the club for a week and gives lessons. Hope you enjoy your new hobby
