"I'm not German, nor do or have I lived in Germany, so I can't really comment re Angela Merkel. However, NS's latest nonsense over fox hunting does her little credit, imho. On the one hand, she wants independence from the UK, but on the other, she wants to decide and influence what happens in England!?? To my simple mind, that's as nonsensical as wanting independence from Westminster, but happy to be ruled 100% by Brussels!" It is a provocation. The tories are blocking the scotland bill. The foxhunting bill is the perfect balance of emotive and low risk to show that the 56 have some clout.

"Does anyone actually think the Tories will let the Tartan Tories away with pulling a stroke like this? Revenge, even if eaten cold, will be eaten. THINK !!!! We know it will happen, as you say, only a matter of time, and all scots will suffer" Yep. The Tories are bastards. One and all.

"Does anyone actually think the Tories will let the Tartan Tories away with pulling a stroke like this? Revenge, even if eaten cold, will be eaten." 56 National Party MPs set the ball rolling on that before this latest non vote. Again, in support of your beloved Labour Party. So I guess any misgivings from the Tory party going forward will be the fault or the Tartan Tories and the Red Tories as they were voting together on the fox ban.

"the torys dont need an excuse to piss on scotland they do it for fun the torys have a majority and power to push through any vote Camerons problem is he didnt have the backing of his own back benchers and had to rely on other partys all the snp did was show the weakness in camerons backing from his own government " Its a good Job Scotland doesn't follow in America's footsteps - Abraham Lincoln, James Abram Garfield, William McKinley, and John F. Kennedy. or the attempted ones such as; Gerald ford & Ronald Reagan If it was the case, David Cameron would never visit scotland

"After so many statements about not voting on purely English matters I am disappointed the SNP can just chuck that policy in the bin. Removing the statement from their online mission statement is not justifiying going back on their word." If you think that's bad, check out their duplicity re fracking and in particular what they tell Ineos and what they tell Joe Public.

"I have just seen all the replies... Credit where it id due Nicola played a blinder in the election... But she now seems to spend a lot of time in London. Mhairi Black...Awesome first speech but as a political student should anything else have been expected? Glad to see the cybernats are out in force... Very pleased to see the the only other self confessed Tory in the room spoke up as well. We are skinny on the ground but we still exist Willie " where else would you expect a general elected mp to be ? you do know it wasnt a local election ?

"With such a strong indigenous economy here in Scotland she will be the obvious successor to lead the fourth Reich... " Absolutely not here laws on firearms are apauling and now she has even tightened laws on air pistols. The young kids of today will grow up without knowing the farm yard fun of shooting, or the respect meeted when handling guns, and that begine with air pistols. Guess she is planning ahead with her policies and ensuring she wont be shot. Its gonna get to the point that no one will be able to enjoy the sport of shooting and no one will know how to handle a gun, we see that already in the armed forces and within the police,

"Our Mhairi sticking it to the Tories yesterday was genius " Im English, been here for 45 years, am an SNP supporter and was so proud of Mhairi. It was a difficult thing to do for any 20 year old but she managed to encapsulate the difference between the two cultures.

Some of those 56 useless jobbies have brought to the "UK and World attention" what is going on behind closed doors David Cameron said he would respect the defeat of the government motion by 285-272, and ruled out joining US-led strikes; then thought he would never get caught by - yes joining the strikes But it is now coming out into the open, thanks to some of these "56 useless jobbies" At least Cameron is being pulled up now, when he puts his finger up to the UK public
