Basically people are offering their skills and time to those who need it, and others are asking for help using the #legup hashtag.

Adam Hills brought it up after discussing how the budget has screwed over those most in need, and now people are stepping up to help others where they can

Don't know if it's the same thing or not but lots of smaller villages have a time bank. You spend an hour painting someone's living room, then spend an hour fixing your garden. It's a great idea for young and old and folk that can't afford to get professionals in

know of a few villages that do this. Problems can arise where you have a community council more like the gestapo
