Sti's even using a condom ???

hey guys sorry for this post but a little concerned .i have just been made aware that even tho i used a condom with someone recently that I could still be at risk from catching a sti?? My work mate said you can catch warts herpes etc just from skin contact ? Is this very rare or has that happened to anyone ? If you want to reply privately please contact me . Prob just being paranoid but I was nieve in believing as long as you used protection you where safe

Yeah think I might I have no symptoms or anything and haven't had unprotected sex just listen to much to people trying to make me paranoid I guess, and believe me it has worked

Anyone having casual sex should not rely on condoms and ideally visit the gum clinical every three months. Many std have no odviously symptoms but are easily treated. You also can pick up a free supply of condoms and lots of info

No symptoms and just having protected sex are NOT reasons for getting yourself checked out. Nobody but you is responsible for your sexual health. See the experts down the gum clinic.

I will go for piece of mind but I think it's just in my mind now I don't for 1 minute believe the majority of this site just randomly visits the gum clinic every few times they sleep with people just to be safe and have no symptoms . Good on them if they do ! But I still have nobody confirming that they have caught anything while using protection so I will assume for the time being that I am fine . Thanks for the advice tho people xx

I don't often meet via fab, have one current lover - we both get tested regularly.

If I have been actively meeting, I go to the clinic every three months, and for a few checks in that cycle when I stop meeting, depending on circumstances.

Like just now, It's been over eighteen months since I had sex via fab, or with anyone other than my lover, but I'm in an open relationship with him, and he's been with a few others, so even playing safe, I still get checked.

Oh and if people call fall pregnant using condoms... Of course you can catch things. Not like it's a complete body suit, and many things are skin contact.

I've been careful and never caught anything, but a friend has caught herpes using condoms, which does really affect her

Sti s are a pain but a realistic pain. Deffo get checkups and always safe sex on here for me. Hopefully minimise any risk for me and everyone else

You can catch sti through oral I never found this out till recently. Warts are skin to skin contact I'm sure so even a hand or mouth the saliva I guess we'll spread it through your body I imagine x

You can do a lot to protect yourself by having a check at someone's bits not very romantic I know but if they have any cuts sores or warts put your knickers back on and make excuses because it's not worth the chance

Yea certainly not worth it. I only recently found out you can catch hiv or aids from giving blow jobs lol stuff you just don't think about
