watched This Morning and they panned round the country at 11am, a shopping centre of people all stood still and silent, Old and young lads all stood still and silent.

saw a few not bother their arse goin about their daily life chattin away laffin not a thought about the freedom afforded them by our armed forces who fought bled and died to preserve our freedom..... shame on them sorry bout the rant lol just gets me how some just dont care .... God bless our heros past and present

I was in the car with wonderboy. He kept silent, partly thanks to his dvd player!

Got lots of messages after tho to tell me that Holly read out my message to Larry on This Morning :D

Work came to a standstill , every employee stood for 2 mins head bowed in total silence, each whith his or her thoughts .

We will ALWAYS remember them !!!

i too stopped at 11am as i do every year to remember not only the fallen hero's but the brave men all over the world serving in our armed forces.and i can add that the company where i work did there bit as well and all fell silent for the 2 minutes.

Coming from a family of servicemen and women it's been bred in me to show respect and remember why.

Once saw my father on television laying a wreath at the cenotaph too with tears in his eyes, my father never cries, to see that was even more moving for me.

Always we will remember them, past and present. xxxx

Big thing in my house.

Two minutes out of a year to pay our respects all the way back.

I love my man, and am so proud of him for his job.

They went with songs to the battle,

they were young, straight of limb, true of eye, they were aglow.

They were staunch to the end against odds uncounted:

They fell with their faces to the foe.

They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old:

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun,

and in the morning,
