sorry i started this topic. some people are so judgmental. my childen are 16 and 21 i have spent every holidays with them as they grew up. my youngest is at the stage he dont want to be out with his mum. My work is also seasonal so i am busy with that. certain friends are on holiday. Not that i have to justify my comment.

I wasn't being judgemental I just laughed at you were mentioning it days into a 7 week holiday period. Go for it, your kids are grown and if your friend accoms
