Some very assuming assumptions.

There are many reasons for this ask the person and om sure they will tell you why.

Ie can't accommodate=kids still live at home

Can't travel=no car and prefer to meet local.

At least give people the benefit of doubt until they prove otherwise

Maybe someone just doesn't feel comfortable about letting a complete stranger in to the home

I once asked a lady who had this on her profile. The answer I got was something to the effect of "I can say what I like on my profile, there are plenty of men who will pick me up and take me to there flat" The one that gets me is those women who can't accommodate, but if the guy can't "Don't bother messaging me". !!!

I cant accommodate as i have flatmates and i cant travel as i don't have a car

i see the cant travel option as being more a distance thing though ... Like i wouldn't go outside Glasgow as its not practical for me to be traipsing off to dundee or stirling on busses and trains to meet someone ... I have no problem travelling locally but thts just my interpretation of the tickbox i suppose

scotland

We don't accommodate , we like our privacy and not everyone is discrete, we had one couple who pointed out a cpl of our neighbours they had met. This is one of the many reasons some wont accommodate .

Some may not travel as they don't drive or like to stay fairly local due to whatever situation they are in.

The usual suspects queuing up, sad but also laughable.

Can't accomm on especially a single fem profile can mean I don't want to invite men into my home as I live alone or don't want people to know where I live.

Can't travel can mean I don't drive and I'm not prepared to go miles for a no show. Perhaps a new category of will can travel locally would be good?

On the flip side 'can travel' - does that mean if you get a meet 700 miles away it's acceptable?

If you were going on a 'regular' date with a girl, the acceptable etiquette has always been to pick them up, take them out and have fun (whatever that entails), then see them safely home.

Don't see why the woman on this site should deserve any less respect!

Maybe that's just me and the way I was raised, but just saying!
