So looking for some help. Wife had meet set up but guy didn't turn up. He gave the excuse he couldn't see her, Bull!!

So our question is how do we avoid this in future. He is verified, had chatted on Kik sent pics etc but still no show??

Any help appreciated.

We've all been there guys.

The trick is getting to know people first.

Get to know people before you trust them.

You can't. I've had that happen as well. Guy was verified, had been on a while. We spoke for a while and arranged to meet then he never turned up and blocked me lol. Was very bizarre but it happens.

There are indeed some weird people on here who are hot and cold one minute to the next and can't be relied upon. When I make a commitment to someone I certainly make every effort to keep it and if I did have to cancel then I would inform as soon as possible about the change of plans.

I don't know what advice to offer apart from keep your wits about you and use your gut instinct.

I can't understand any guy not turning up, as it's almost impossible for a single guy to get a meet. I hope this experience doesn't deter you from trying again - there's lots of good guys, honest!

How rude to not turn up and even say sorry but i am to scared to take it further This attitude spoils it for every one not just the struggling single guys .

I might sound like a bit of a hypocrit saying this but dont always trust verification because people can set up fake accounts and verify themselves and theres weird people out there who get a kick out you getting all ready to meet thn they dont turn up probably gives them a sense of power

As a single female, I very rarely give out my number. I chat a lot on here for a long time (as most of my veris say... hopefully its worth the wait)

I'm sorry you were stood up. Its never something I have experienced on here, but sadly know it happens.

If its a one off, chalk it up to bad luck, if it becomes more frequent, then perhaps look at your selection criteria.

lol ive never been stood up guessing that was for the op your right time is your best safeguard I can take months even yrs to meet and an actual phone no is something that happens naturally with time or maybe just one of my safeguards but I wouldnt meet without it

I have had met lots of lovely people on here and never been let down by a no show equally I have never not turned up to a meet however if a genuine reason crops up that stops a meet thenni always let the person know as far in advance as possible it's only fair and common politeness and most people are genuine and understand but there's always the exception to basic courtesay on sites like this sad to say

I genuinely don't understand the effort 'fakes' make in setting up meets; to then simply not show up...

Unless, it's one of their kinks?

bar meeting at a social or private party before hand there's not a lot you can do unfortunately.

If you get personal recommendations of guys from friends you might get s better chance but bar that keep trying to have fun like the rest of us

Sucks when that happens! Just pick up your sexys and move on nothing you can change about this sorta people. We had a guy mail us up til time he was sposed to leave and two hours later he blocked us no emails or texts or calls.
