Do you think these actually work?

What do u think the actually success rate is putting up 'meet today' is?

Has anyone actually met anyone this way and was it successful?

I'm just very curious lol

Nope.

Never worked yet. Not going to stop either.

590 single men on meet today

28 single females.....

it's just a lottery really isn't it?

I wonder how many mails a single female would get putting her name up on the meet today post? I think she would never get a meet at all... she'd be too busy sorting her mail! xxx

Have put our names on "meet today list " on 3 separate occasions , how many reply's .....let me count them .........NOT A SINGLE ONE !!!!!!!

so in answer to "do they work " ..thats a big fat NO!

so far the 4 times ive done the "meet today" i ve met with the people plus the few others i ve meet through the forums and chat but it does work just need to have a good chat with the person that ur meeting with and then meet up with the some where public before the meet

I've never met anyone from being on the meet today list, although I have tried putting myself on it...generally I have to remove myself from the list after about 20 minutes after being bombarded with messages from guys who are either way over my age range or don't live anywhere near here.

bless its like the Harrods sale on Boxing day... off to get a flask, blankets and 'camp' out.... had my eye on that Janda one in the bedding dept for ages.... hope she puts herself up xxxx

Havent had much luck with meet today post tried it a few times n what normaly happens is we post sat morning looking for a meet that evening not a single email so later in the evening u think ur not gonna get a meet so u crack open the vino and beers and what happens u start getting emails from ppl wanting to meet but its too late by then as u cant drive to get to them as uve been drinking GGGGGrrrrrrrr LOL

Tried it today to test out the theory.

Camo at 9am it is now 12 noon, 3hrs later and not a sniff.

I agree with View, if its used properly it would work great, but at the moment its filled with single guys and very few couples or single females.

Anytime I have put myself on it I have had no luck at all!

Do couples & single fems look at it at all? Or is it just a haven for the single male? lol

I very rarely look at it and have never used it.

I prefer to build up a bit of rapport in chat with anyone I intend to play with, or build on contacts made at socials.

So the meat today is a bit like a mac D's drive through compared to the well hung prime fillet I'm used to, too fast and too unknown a quantity xxxx

the reason we used it was beleive it or not we quiet shy so we put it up on the hope that some of our firends see it and ask lol.

no we not into a quick hello right get the kit off kinda meet.

i find looking at the meet today section very annoying . you have to dredge thru all the others in places you would struggle to reach in a day before you find anyone in your travel area(ie scotland)

maybe if they could find a way of splitting into areas like in browse for profiles it would work better

If you just use the regular browse function, there's an option to only show people with "meet today", so you can sort it into people around you by doing that.

Added our names to "meet today" a few times and struck lucky on a couple of occasions, usually we add it if were not to fussed what were doing that night example going to bars etc in edinburgh were going regardless if we pull or not lol.

if we want something more organised and arranged then the chat rooms the place to be.

and you can also search by postcode

Just had a look at the "Meet Today" section, and got a little confused! Ok, I'll admit it's not necessarily too difficult to confuse me, I'm just an ordinary simple guy!!

The confusion? Somebody supposedly looking for a meet today, but their profile is headed, "Not meeting at present due to work" or words to that effect.

How does that work then??

I think it's a good system.

Like the majority of people on here, most of the time I'm online it's to have a perv or a natter. With the 'meet today' flag you can at leart see who wants to play.

I've had mixed sucess with it but that goes with the territory of being a single male.

I do notice some people appear to have theirs on almost all the time which I do find a bit suspicious.
