Just reading a few topics at the moment and there doesn't seem to be much tolerance for other people's _iews on here. Politics and royalty are the two most recent I've seen, but there have been others.

I could be wrong, it's just my impression.

I wouldn't say it was intolerance, I see it as everyone adding their tuppence worth and what a boring world it would be if we all agreed

I agree some can't accept someone else's opinions without wanting to have a constant argument because their opinions differ to theirs.

There is healthy debate then there is outright nitpicking for no good reason by some.

Nit picking wat other people add to threads is def very petty and as said everyone should add there own opinion not wat others think they should or shouldnt say

i'm all for reasoned debate and i do accept other people's point of _iew.

What i dislike is the name calling just because i disagree with that person's point of _iew. Just childish.

I'm all for discussion and doddering opinions, but some of what I've read almost amounts to bullying , not necessarily by individuals, but as a collective making anyone with a differing opinion reluctant to contribute.

Strangely (on a forum where it's almost designed to allow you to hide) I'd prefer to have a face to face discussion as I don't have the time to constantly be on here to respond.

If the abuse i receive is "a reflection of society"...were in even bigger poo than even i thought, what happened to "reaching out and representing all points of _iew ".......It seems it only counts if your shouting loudly and waving a flag......so disappointing x

Problems arise when people start levelling personal insults against those with differing opinions. It happens a lot.....clearly there are some well-worn personality clashes between some fabbers which play out again and again. To the detriment of other site users.
