Nothing like a fish supper out of a newspaper so come on guys where do you get the best fish supper or where is your favourite all over Scotland.

MacCallum's Oyster Bar in Troon is amazing and does the best fish dishes ever the oysters are amazing but if your a simple fish n chip kind of person give it a try xx

Ive tried quite a few, Anstruther, Biggar, Helensburgh, Oban, Inveraray (I know I know, fat git!) but the best has to be Eyemouth. Mmmmm yummy

lol they are all mostly on the sea front

ok near the cat park be the Lido or the Palace both ok but wee kelpie other end of the seafront heading away from the carpark is in another league honestly

One of the best I remember was 7eral years ago in FORFAR. Can't remember name of it, as it was a one off (passing through) Fish was thick, great chips.

But a defo weekly for me is SANDRO's in JOHNSTONE, high street.

9/10 almost every time for me.

Still good chippy, one of the best in the area.

Hornblower's at Gourdon. Fantastic setting just on the pier at the harbour. Fresh fish landed on their doorstep. Absolutely amazing fish and chips, and fun by a lovely couple. Lots of other innovative seafood available too. Don't miss trying it if you are in the area (just off A92, south of Stonehaven). Mmmmmmmmm! Mouth watering already!!

All these hygiene standards do contribute to poor health nowadays to some extent. It's claimed that not being exposed to as much bacteria etc we don't carry the same antibodies as in the past. Wether that's true or not is like everything else.. . Debatable
