just an idea we were thinking it would be a good one if there were different chatrooms for singles and a different one for couples, so as if the couples felt like meeting a single they could chat in there only saying because there seems to be a lot of singles on , one day in chat there was only two couples in and 20 single guys now at weekend the screen moves toooo fast cause of this

I think the chat room is nothing more than ' a chat ' room not a ' chat with sole intent to meet' room... not that I am knocking your suggestion at all miffy but I think too much focus is put into 'the room' for meets which drives the preying wolves type behaviour from many folks, singles and couples.

I for one enter the room to say hi to my pals and nothing else but I watch the 'anyone for a meet now' ... people should use the 'meet today' facility more rather than spam the room every few mins.

a concern about 'couple only ' would be more single guys posing as couples to enter....

again not knocking idea..

How would you monitor it? Would both halves of a 'couple' actually have to be present to qualify to enter the couples room? You only need to read posts about single guys masquerading as couples to see the difficulty.

not a bad idea in theory, but i wouldnt feel comfy going into a whole room of single guys..... as theres more single guys then single women... so it would just be a room with no one talkin and all the guys wanking lol

Surely single ladies would be treated as honorary couples for the purpose of this. The whole suggestion is designed to exclude the hordes of single guys.

oops, I would hope so too.... otherwise it would end up with some hubby's from couples chasing the single fems behind the wives back ...... perish the thought that could ever happen... sometimes I read ' we never play without each others knowledge ' and chuckle....

LMAO View, you seen my mail? There are a few from the guys from 'never play without partner' couples.

However, on the other hand it can be daunting in chat as a single female with chat consisting of singles and couples, and more than a few times when the sharks start circling couples have come to the rescue of single fems, by drawing them into conversation and helping the single fem ignore the crass comments from the single guys, or have backed her up when telling them to fekk off as is often necessary.

I've benefited from the 'protection' of couples myself and would hate to be in a chatroom without this mix of couples there too.

Think the meet today post should be used more than it is and leave the chatrooms for just that.....chat. xxx

ok apologies in advance if this seems a blunt post..

I think its a horrific idea!

The chat room is a place for all to chat and get to know each other..regardless of age, sex, colour, race, marital status etc etc

It should be a fun place and a flirty place, not somewhere that is segregated.

I think the mix of single and couples makes it more interesting and offers a unique blend of variety that a couples or singles only chat could not offer.

However if any group of people felt they wanted thier own space...then it already exisits in the form of the very under utilised supporters chat room.

I like speaking to all sorts..even the liars, the cheaters, the fantasists and the couples who despite saying they never play alone...message you anyways lol

Equally i am uncomfortable that yet again..singles are being seen as some sort of pariah

the idea of different chat lobbies is that it gives u the choice u just hav to look at swinging heavens chatrooms it has or had about 80 different rooms with all preferences catered for there just seems to too much going on in the one scottish chatroom but hey if u dont like dont go there ,we thought the idea of chatroom was to prove you r who u are via cam and also chat to friends whom u hav met and get too know the genuine swingers (plural)but anyways its kinda free so what goes goes and if you dont like dont go there hav fun

Swinging heaven has lots of chat rooms..but there is not an enforced exclusion..its all down to preference. As an example..i was once actively involved in the bbw room...but clearly thin women did and were openly welcome in that room..however there was an unspoken understanding that the focus was on larger lovlies. No one was denegrated for being otherwise tho

If you create a rule that excludes and its enforced then in my opinion..its wrong.

I dont for one second say my opinion is the gospel or the right one..its just my opinon...and as such i would be saddened to see ...yet again..singles being segregated.

total disagree with diff chatrooms..is this because some cpls arent interested in singles so with the diff chatrooms makes it easyer on them..an when it suits u get cpls meeting singles..no no no well u know wat just block singles that way all singles wont be able 2 get in touch way cpls..easy all round..me for one dont email asking cpls 2 meets unless we are friends so all u cpls are safe tc an have a jolly nice day xx

Am ready here to be shot down over this reply but here goes as one of the single males in the room who does try and speak to everyone.

Why would single females be treated as Honorary Couples? Aren't they single just the same as single males?

There are a lot more single males I agree but is this not just another post to put down the single males when there are both single males, females and couples who go into the chatroom to chat to friends and not just chase a quick shag!

I agree that separate chatrooms would be a very bad idea! Just my humble single male opinion!

Been and seen various chatrooms swinging wise, but never enjoyed the Scotland room as much as it is currently, its so cosmopolitan and yet friendly and its fab to click into a room with familiar folks.

For me, its simply common knowledge single guys are simply not a tip top priority of couples, any chat or interest is fantastically flattering from couples,but to the "beautys" who think they simply click in to chat and shout "fancy it" well, if nuthing else its fun watching them gradully realise its not the way to go,lol.

No need for separate interest rooms, embrace yer fellow scots swingers i say,

Poor single men get it in the neck again, we have met some great ones so a big thumbs up to single men from us !!

Well wouldnt it be better if there was a (looking to meet room)that way people who just wanted to chat could use the chatroom without anyone hitting on them.

I have to agree with Mr View and Laine. A separate chat room for singles would not be in keeping with the spirit of this website. The chat room must be able to be used by everyone for chatting, flirting etc.

Not a great advocate of separatism and segregation in any form. Buddha teaches us we are all individual.

I agree with the current set up for the chatroom.

I go in there to chat to people regardless of who they are and what their individual preference is for sexuality.

It is a meeting room where we all come together to chew the fat and blether.

Yes I take on board the hungry hordes, I was on yesterday pretty early and their were 7 in the room, 2 of which were female. The hyenas were packed in there trying to out muscle each other.

I ended up making my apologies to the two ladies and was about to leave the room when about 5 others joined mainly women and the conversation evened out, the hyenas caught on to the jist of the conversation and backed off.

Havering a bit here but yes my point was once you start to segregate people you then need to bring in more Mods to monitor each room etc and then Fab gets wasted when that takes up more admin time and then we start getting the cheque books out and having to pay for the service as in other similar sites.

We don't need this

This site is fine the way it is if it isn't broke why try to fix it.

I like the chat rooms as they are but can understand why some people wouldn't want single guys in the room.

There are a few that just treat other members, single ladies in particular like pieces of meat at an auction and that spoils the room and indeed will put people off from coming in the room. This then gives the decent guys (singles or part of a couple) a bad name and are often tarred wi the same brush.

Last night one guy was saying in the room what he wanted to do to a woman and it was just so crude. When asked by the room and ourselves to calm down he took the strop. So, I can def see an argument for segregation. However, we have made friends of single guys in the room and like chatting to them even though we dont meet single guys so would be a shame to segregate.

Just my two-penneth.

we are just newbies on the site as a whole and spent a few hours in the chatroom the other night (until pamela got carried away lol) and did enjoy some of the banter from a few of the guys.

what i was impressed with was the level of respect. i kind of expected every guy to be really pervy and speak to pamela as if she was a fucktoy there to be used, but in reality there was only 3 or 4 that did out of the lot which was good

had a good time there and thought the room was well moderated and well mannered xx

Eejits will be eejits no matter what room they are in .Effective moderating seems to prevent most of the persistant hassle that some people cause in "other" places.In principle though I dont think there would be a problem with a couples only room ,I just dont see how you could prevent fake couples profiles being made to get round it .Just my wee contribution such as it is
