I'm far too nice often. I give in to people or go out of my way to do more for them than they ever would for me. However I don't mind being seen as too nice.

Just like EVERYONE I'm a bit of both. Nobody is entirely one or the other...we are all human. I work very hard on the nice side though.

May be they mean you are too nice so people take advantage - you can be assertive without being nasty.
