Hiya folks,just started looking for a hotel to book for the xmas social and wondered where was best to book

book one in city centre......then pay to go in a taxi somewhere out of city....thats what we have been advised.

We have been advised the same but if the venue is outside the city wouldn't it be better to get a hotel closer to the venue. Not everybody is made of money and have other commitments to consider too.

yeah we know not ideal...we booked the hotel b4 the venue was moved so now need to see if its worth the taxi fair ?

I will source a taxi firm which is used by the venue and ask them for a rough quote for a taxi from venue to central station which is fairly central for everyone to get to.
