how many times have you left?

i'm back again for probably the tenth time in 4 or 5 years. Ive left for all different reasons the last one being I didn't like my user name and I wasn't paying a site membership to change it.

I not going to pester anyone to verify me again because some people have done it 2 or 3 times and must be getting fed up with it lol

So how many times have you left and came back and for what reason

Never left since joining for first time years back.

I'd use hide profile facility if I wanted to take time out .As for the benefit of member on here a fiver for 3 months is nowt ! Rather pay that than have the inconvenience of starting from square one as deleted profile .

See the yo yo users on here and I find it off putting .

I've never left really, I just hide my profile when I can't be bothered with the site for a while.

If I left it would be for a reason good enough that I wouldn't want to come back

You didn't feel paying a fiver, changing it in a matter of minutes and carrying on as normal was preferable to leaving and deleting everything then coming back and having to set up a whole new profile and get back in touch with old friends again? Blimey, that seems like a lot of effort for no reason.

We've never left yet and if we left it would probably be for good but never say never...Who knows what will happen as time goes by.

I left 3 years ago when I met someone and we agreed to delete our profiles. Within days I realised I'd made a mistake and came back. I then discovered he hadn't left at all. Lol. The whole episode with him was a huge learning curve for me. I'll hide my profile now if I need a break.

There are 2 reasons I don't pay site supporters fee. The 1st 1 is that I believe this sites changing to become more profit orientated. More and more things are becoming only available to site supporters and I don't like that.

The second reason is it share a bank account with someone who.doesn't know I am on here and as we had a couple account and were site supporters before she may be aware of what the payment is for.
