Of course I think there are people out of my league I avoid and don't message them because I don't want a no thanks. I've had messages before telling me I'm not their type just the same as everyone else.

I especially avoid people that are always at the gym. I'm far from fit and don't want to show myself up.

Yeah, sometimes. I don't think it's got anything to do with not feeling good about yourself, as I read on another thread recently. Someone else on here put it brilliantly, if you think you'd have no chance if you rocked up to them on a night out, it's possibly the same on here.

That's not to say they're bad people and it may be doing them an injustice but I think life experience gives you a bit of a feeling of who will and won't go for you.

We say its only a message to start with just go for it and see what happens
