"Yeah... No where does it say SNP in that at all. There is no where it says the Lib Dims, Scottish Socialist Party, Green Party, UKIP Scotland but you are certain it is an SNP member and not a member of any other party? You are so sure it isn't even a member of public? Give me a break. It is easy to twist any story you know little about to fit your own agenda." "Oh patronising is a staple diet of the SNP style...........I truly am saddened at how deluded my fellow scots are by what exactly........all the years of SNP rule and what has been achieved have we a better health service, police force, fire brigade......all negatives already, wheres the honey we were promised.I have family in the police who are disgusted that they now carry guns to everyday situations .......yes truly ..guns , i see them dont you ?" And you don't think you aren't being patronising? We were told last year we were better together, yet now those same politicians seem to have forgotten the why now. And pardon me if I'm being a bit thick, but what has the police having to carry guns got to do with it? Incidentally, I've not seen any police officer carrying guns in Fife. I'm not a card carrying SNP supporter. In fact, as the daughter of an ex miner and a staunch trade unionist in my day, I should be a die hard Labour member. I'm not. I am a Scot who loves her country, her history and her people and only wants what best for her. That does not make me deluded.

All the years of SNP rule??? That's good, compared to all the years of Labour domination of the Scottish political landscape. Quite a few labour dominated council areas are home to some of the highest instances poverty in the UK. And they've had plenty of time to work at fixing it.

"Why not join the WWF I hear they're good for trying to protect near extinct and endagered species like the scottish Labour party. With their caveman leader and truly Jurasic ideas and attitude to Scotland" Agree except for the caveman leader comment. Only midweek, Nicola was reciting reasons to break the 'once in a generation/ once in a lifetime' promise - and we heard what Willie Rennie said about breaking promises." Nicola says if you heard her right she says there is no plans for a referendum and it would only change if and i mean if the people of scotland wanted it and as the SNP wouldnt it be wrong of them if they didnt listen to the people if the people wanted another one. This is not about referendum this is about who you want in charge at westminster the scottish elections are in 2016 so hold your horses cause the referendum might not be on the cards in 2016

Basically they know they won't win (obviously given the size of their electorate) so they can promise everything except free ice cream every day. They are criticising the current UK government for the deficit but then saying they will borrow over £160 billion, ramping the deficit up which is economic madness. They don't have an economic policy they are just trying to appeal to those who oppose benefit cuts etc. Unfortunately people with no idea of economics will buy into this and hope for some utopian socialist future. "Can I play devils advocate here for a moment and ask the SNP fans a question. Given a lot of the Yes voters are staunchly against Trident and it's being placed in Scotland, will you feel let down or sold out by Nicola Sturgeon if Labour wins and she forms a coalition with them as they've stated that Trident won't be going anywhere and will probably be renewed. It's hypothetical at the moment I know but I just wondered how those SNP members against Trident would feel about the SNP compromising their principles like that." S- here i would say no because i cant honestly see a coalition happening if SNP gets the seats these polls are saying they will get then its Labour that will need SNP help and its more likely to be a deal by deal and i would say Trident will be the top of SNP list to get rid of it.

"Not being a political person but are the SNP not seeming to be gathering a lot more supporters in Scotland . Or are all the polls there are doing just bull shit " Well I guess the proof will be in the pudding, when we see just how many voters do indeed vote SNP.

"The below quote sums it up for me perfectly. I have no idea nor care what Gray's politics are but she is bang on the money here. “Politics is now like a religion in Scotland,” says Muriel Gray, the Scottish writer. “It used to be debateable and enthralling. Now it is tribal, identity politics, for us or against us. Tragic.” " Politics has been about religion in parts of Scotland for generations. Councillors unwilling to risk upsetting certain parts of the electorate are the reason why we still have segregated schools. 'Community' projects funded in areas of Muslim population, even if it looks like radicalisation. Councillor's poor behaviour ignored cos they have a large personal following..........

We do not have segregated schools in Scotland, that is a complete fallacy. Public schools, very often incorrectly tagged "Protestant Schools"are non-denominational. Roman Catholic schools also accept admissions from pupils who are not RC...having attended an RC school myself and having had Muslim, Sikh and Bhuddist friends I know this to be fact. Parents should have the right if they so choose to send their children to faith based or non faith based schools and the utter myth that separate schools breed religious intolerance is a very tired old chestnut!

I wonder how I knew you'd attended an RC school.

Its only a tired old chestnut because one side refuses to accepts their "could be an issue here". It is not even up for debate by one side. Kids of a different faith attending these schools do not have their faith catered for in religious teaching. Imagine we had black and white schools but its great because the black school also accepts brown and yellow kids. Madness If we dont have segregated schools why do we have shared campus's springing up (with crazy conditions demanded) all over the place. When you separate kids at the age of 5 it by its very nature breeds division. Schools are for learning. Kids of every creed, colour or religion should be taught together. Churches / Chapels etc for religion. No doubt I will be labelled a bigot for pointing this out. Maybe if politicians grew a set we could move into real world. Problem is too many vote from the pulpit.
