Morning All

I'm running away this weekend with my aunt to Inveraray. Neither of us have been before so wondering if any of you lovely lot can recommend some lovely places to eat or drink or shop....

The George hotel, good food, loch Fyne oysters just outside Inverary , other than that dont know

I don't think there's much for shopping a good few places to eat mind you but try the chippy at arrochar it's the best I've tasted in a long while

Oban just up the road plenty shops beautiful in sunshine and the loch fyne hotel does lovely food and is very historic the jail passes a good couple of hours to.

if you get to oban great seafood on harbour also the distillery tour in centre of town was a good way to spend and hour or so with a few wee samples

We agree the George does good food, Loch Fyne hotel has lovely pool and jacuzzi and hot tub, if weather nice take a run down to the Cairnbaan Hotel, great walk along the canal and food is good, have fun.

kilmarnock ish

Crarae gardens are well worth a look as well if you you to walking . George hotel is amazing and the Jail for a look roon
