Fed up going to the same places..

Anyone know of places to visit with my little dude's?

Two places out of bounds are zoo or noisy places as both my boys have autism.

They can't cope with noise or animals

Mugdock country park is nice , loads to do , plenty open space for kids to play and a nice wee centre for a coffee or something to eat?

A wee trip down to Ayr beach prob be busy school hols but im sure you could find a quiet spot for them as pretty big stretch of sand

Croy shores. Lovely wee beach...really quiet but do much fun x

Went to largs the other day was lovely. Going to glasgow green today plenty of open space to tire him out with his football and they have a few play parks aswell x

"The yard" in Edinburgh is an amazing place to visit and is open during holidays. Different parts to it and not noisy and lots of different things to do there or Arthur's seat. Also a place in fife called the meedies that has peddle boats and a wee park. I used to look after a wee autistic boy and it was always hard during holidays coz everywhere busy. We used to tend to go to quiet walking areas and make sensory items x

A day out to Culzean Castle. It's never noisy there. You can amaze them with the electric brae on the way as well.

Don't forget to take a ball to roll up the hill

A woman after own hearts. The wee hurrie is the best chippy in Ayrshire bar none. And I've been in them all I think lol

It's like that most places now. They get ill. Was once told they like carrot. Yet the ones at Linlithgow were not impressed. Have a lovely day. I've a few nice memories there

Why not look into scotrail web site and see if they go free and if so travel around on the train to new places .nice trip up north could be nice

When my son was young it was castle after castle. His favourite place is still Falkland Palace...but he's a history fiend.

We are going to kelvin hall for a dinosaur thing. Then a game of bowls at the front of the hall never done it before then a picnic with a bottle of wine at the botanic gardens

I know that work colleagues took kids with additional support needs to climbing centre in Glasgow. They're likely to have been older but perhaps worth a wee look at something different?

Science centre sometimes has some really good sensory and relaxation exhibitions aswell x
