I would loved to have been about 20 in the late 50's so I could buy all those fab British bikes like Nortons and Royal Enfields.

I always was a rocker at heart.

I would choose the 80's. Not because of the culture or anything like that. . But because I'd still be under, what seems like, everyone's cut off age of 45!

Do you think a lot of what influences your thinking on what era you'd have liked to have been in is because of tv and film? America in the '20's (guessing boardwalk empire) had horrific living conditions and poverty. Pride and Prejudice was written in 1813 when life expectancy was only around 29 years old and unless you lived in the aristocracy, again, often horrific living conditions but tv and film make them look like a pretty glam place to be, even in the poorer areas.

Personally, I'd like to see the 60's that my folks grew up in or I'd like to be in my early 20's in 1980's London, just to see if life was really as excessive as it's made out to be.
