Swinging has been called wife swapping in the past, but this term has been criticized as androcentric and inaccurately describing the full range of sexual activities in which swingers may take part. are we all swingers. this is only my personal opinion singles (male & female) along with couples can be classed as swingers however i believe married people looking to meet behind their partners back are basicly using the term "swinging" instead of "cheating" as i believe swinging is something done with full knowledge of all parties not hidden from spouses...again just my opinion folks.....lol

This is only my opinion(Debbs)

I agree with both above posts

Different People get different things out of swinging, some get company, some get sex, others make new freinds, or simply just get pleasure.

Singles swing because they want to be open about sex, be able to learn new skills or teach them in Views case lol

and there is singles who want to join in group sex , they cant really do that in the Moggles world.

Once you become involved in the swinging scene you belong to the family, you look out for each other, and care what happens to each other, even if you have never met them in person, there is unspoken rules about what and where things are happening,

As a Couples counsoler, i come across loads of couples who shouldnt be together but for reasons such as kids, money etc they cant be apart (or feel they cant)so they turn to swinging as they know its a closed community I suppose, they feel safe.

I do know married men on here and the fact that they have not hidden it then, its then up to people to decide if they want anything to do with them.

As for the ones who lie and just hope they dont get caught well I dont agree with it.(sorry but my opion)

its a fair point view.

i think swinging or swinging lifestyle is or used to be predominantly aimed at couples but modern times have educated more people to a more liberated lifestyle and singles are just as justified in becoming swingers as couples. i think that singles (although the cause of many complaints) are needed to complete the swinging scene.

bear in mind every body has different tastes so it takes a varied bunch of us to complete the picture.

Couples, singles we are all swingers, here for consenting adult fun, but.....

.... the married single swinger is much more complex, some may swing with the wives/husbands consent (aye and I'm a born again virgin) others love their wives/husbands and cannot always be near them through work etc. so choose the swinging lifestyle rather than cheat on their partners or get involved emotionally. Then there are the serial cheats who just do it for that frisson it brings.

All I want to say is if you are married and on here as a single swinger don't leave contact details lying around on a scrap of paper where the wife finds it, I've had a very good dinner spoiled when the wife has phoned my mobile and asked what I was doing with her husband.....thank fekk he never had my address on the paper too or she would have been round with a lynching mob!

My point is, the wounded spouse will always attack you first, partner later and that's a mess we all wish to avoid....hence married swinging cheaters are not the most favourite of our happy swinging band and angry psycho killer spouses least favourite of all. xxxx

as a single guy a dating site is no use to me as I dont want romance, nor do I want to lead fems on. I tried romance last year and sadly couldnt keep it in ma pants lol and choose singledom and swinging over love and lies ..

Have to agree with View here, I had love and romance once, that will never be replaced.

So for similar reasons I choose not to date but to swing, have sex, have fun and no ties, no promises made and none broken.

Been swinging nearly 6 years now, and this might backfire on me , but its honest if nowt else.

I like to think i get meets and fun and i "make it happen" by just being honest, im not slim, im not gorgeous, im not hung like a porn star,all i do is same as any solo guy, i message honestly with no anxious overtones or pushy "we gotta meet and soon" back you into a corner type message, i simply intro myself and tell who i message the idea of somewhere down the line eventually meeting would be cool.

Maybe this should be in another forum section, but i both feel for a good lookin guy who seems peeved like that and im sure good things will come along if just dont be or get anxious.

I think that couples meeting couples are the original and true swingers. BUT like everything else in this modern world, swinging has also changed and evolved, and ... I suppose with the sexual revolution we have all experimented and experienced and pushed our own boundaries in search for more fun.

Hence the introduction of couples actively (may I add openly) seeking single or multiple Fem's or Males to share in their experiences. This may have paved the way for singles to then actively seek out couples through these sites.

Again empowerment (prob not best choice of word, so girls don't shout at me) has allowed women and men to say, I don't want a relationship, and all that goes with it..for whatever reasons...BUT I do want to experience good sex, with nice people without the hang ups that come with relationships. So again the swinging lifestyle provides this.

So ... (before I lose my train of thought in this rant!) to summarise, I feel there is a place for all, providing everyone honest and above board. Cheaters are disliked in all walks of life, and we should be vigilant and keep a look out for them, but please not at the expense of all the wonderful beautifull honest people that make up this wonderful "family".

I think sometimes people who think of themselves as swingers arent.

I believe that swingers have respect for one another and understand the bounderies this community has when they enter in to it.

Some however dont understand these and continue to overstep the line.

But what I consider a swinger to be is people or persons who enjoy having fun in the company of others with no promises, being open and honest with the people concerned and not getting involved in any other way.

Thats what I think!!!
