How many times would you message someone before taking the hint they didn't want to chat ? And give up pursuit. Would you also block that person if they didn't reply after a couple of messages ?

If I send a message and get no reply then I move on. If I get a reply saying "no thanks" then I reply thanking them for their reply.....and move on.

Anything after that is stalking!!!!

Sometimes messages drop off the page and I miss them. So I would probably say if they haven't read it then a couple of messages in case they missed the first. Then give up.

If they have read it and they don't reply then one is more than enough.

dont give in to easy i roughly get 200 messages a day sometimes i just delete all because it to much. if i really liked some one id try a few times before giving up.

If I mail someone and they dont reply and I forget I've already mailed them... The "You've already sent this person a message and they haven't replied" warning would stop me mailing a 2nd time.

One guy who mails us (is married and playing away from home) constantly messages asking to meet so mr just messes with him I hotgot bored with him and wanted to block him. For us a no thanks is enough

I messaged a TV friend the other night that i still talk to, but havent messaged on here for a wee while, where our last exchange was d*unken banter....... and i got the warning about the user has not replied to your previous message lol....

I never knew you got that, so it made me think that these cunts that keep messaging me without a reply must be seeing this in multiple..... so i went to town on the block button lol x

i don,t always remember whether , i might have messaged in the past , but if i receive a reply and its thanks but no thanks , i block , not to be offensive just so i dont sent a second or third message , i just use as a tool to keep me right , am i wrong to do this ?

Like mentioned above women on here can receive upwards of 200 messages a day.

If I send a message and get no reply Igo back into my sent messages to see if it was even opened and read or just plain deleted.

If it had been read the. Should I try again a message appears that basically alerts me to the not interested

If it hasn't even been opened then maybe it has dropped off the recipients page and I will try again.

I never ask more than twice

I only block arseholes or suchlike that want to start a fight or cause me grief
