who is your favourite scottish band/singer/group?

im a huge belle & sebastian fan even long before i moved up here.

I would agree with Belle & Sebastian and have seen them several times now. I love their perspective of Glasgow. Some think it's twee, or seen through rose-tinted spectacles, but I think it's just my kind of indie-nostalgia. Belle & Sebastian are to Glasgow what Amelie is to Paris. I'm also besotted with Isobel Campbell, she will always be Belle to me.
