Guys who can't handle rejection?!

Jump to newest

Why are there so many guys on here who become abusive and offensive when you politely tell them they're not your type???

Are we not entitled to choose who we meet? or are we just expected to drop our knickers for every guy who messages us?

Really spoils this site!!!

Anyone else experienced this?

Some are just not mature and act like wee boys or girls. It's not just men that can't take rejection. If you read things. The signs can be there. Life is to short to bother with them. When I say I like to get my freek on ....that's not what am talking about. .

Females are just as bad when it's it's the other way around. They can be just as vicious.

Luckily this has actually only happened to us a few times. The vast majority of guys have been perfectly polite.

It does disturb me however that on the few occasions where we have been subjected to abuse the offender seems to go unpunished even where we have complained to fab.

Needless to say the person is immediately blocked but the other thing which they maybe do not realise is that active couples on fab do speak to each other & names of people to avoid are passed around unofficially.

Yeh....I get that women can be just as bad...lol....I just don't why anyone feels the need to behave like that...we're all adults (supposedly!)....just accept a "no thanks" and move on surely?

Just take it on the chin and move on is my motto. I can't understand these people who get abusive it's just ridiculous to expect that every request will lead to a meet.

Keep Calm and Move On

I totally appreciate guys outnumber women on here and as such it must be frustrating...but being offensive doesn't really do much for their appeal....lol

The secret is to gonwith the flow and don't take things too seriously.

There is the likelihood of more rejection when your older on this site as it can be a bit ageist but be philosophical!

There are plenty of tasty fish in the sea and good manners cost nothing. J

Yip just move on. I think 99% are knock backs on this site. Trust me Iv had my share. Think there is a lot of attention seekers and teasers who are no way going to meet anyone. So just laugh it off.

Everyone gets knockbacks. Many guys have this unrealistic idea that as a couple we dwell in the promised land where we are eagerly accepted by everyone.

Wrong. We for instance have bluntly been told that we are too old, too ugly, to.... whatever.

That's just the way it is. No point in throwing the rattle out of the pram.

Guys need to realise that it's lady's choice on here. I can imagine that the ladies mail boxes are always full of eager guys wanting to chat/meet. At the end of the day they have the choice. If they don't choose you then move on from it.

I handle it fine so can't speak for the guys that don't but to be fair to them I've not hear back from any women that are nice about it, since joining 4year ago whenever I've heard back from women who aren't interested they either just read & delete or just delete, & when they do reply they have put enough effort in to being an absolute cunt about it, unlike the women on here though I won't put every woman in the same basket & I'll realise that your not all like that

No idea, I'm lost. Damn Sat nav!

Its not just men I've been on the receiving end of women who don't take it too well either and the rejection didn't come from me but a third party.

In all the years we've been here, never had a nasty reply to saying "no thanks". Usually get a response along the lines of " not a problem, thanks for the reply"

I am always rubbing ointment on to the barge pole bruises, but doesn't faze me.

I do find it amazing that since I started posting on the forums again that lots of chaps are looking at my profile!?

Come on the rest of you...

Yup had this last week from some guy. He got very very nasty and aggressive with his messages all because I hadn't replied to his original message.

I was polite in reply explaining about the unexpected number of messages I had received amd h3 continued to be abusive and threatening. Reported him but didn't block him so I had proof of what he sent. Within 5 mins his page was suspended and from what I can see now he's gone.

was quite shocked at first as I'm new here, but I guess you'll always attract a nutter or two just as you would while walking down the street....xx
