Those aforementioned, fondant-filled, egg-shaped chocolates were once one of my favourites... until the American company that bought them over recently stopped using the proper traditional chocolate recipe and quietly started using a cheaper alternative. I will never again buy this chocolate until they start making those aforementioned, formerly lovely, fondant-filled, egg-shaped chocolates again in the proper way and stop bloody meddling in British institutions.

p.s I used to bite off the top and use my tongue to skilfully lick out the fondant filling. A technique that I mastered and has stood me in good stead to this very day.

Slowly tease the top with my tongue till it starts to melt, then as the outer layer parts to let my tongue delve deeper. Circling the moistness to find that lovely juicy centre.

Oh and as for creme eggs in just shove them in all at once.

Bite the top off and scoop the inside out with my fingers. Sticky but yum
