What do women actually look for on this site? Seems nowadays that everyone just wants their photo's fabbed and ego's stroked. I have met loads of lovely folk over the years but it seems to be coming more and more like facebook all the time. Ladies, please... Give us a clue here? How do the decent guys get past the 'deleted' phase. (incidentally anyone i do message and they delete i just block, cant be doing with embarrassing myself trying to talk to someone thats not interested)

JK every woman is different.

Bit of chat, few drinks and a good laugh with compatible people not just a dart thrown at the fab local guy board contrary to what some assume, seems impossible at time's but has happened on a few occasions. Hang in there there are some gid yins about.

Very much a piss into the wind 98% of the time. I know there are nice folk on here, just seems to be a hell of a lot of digging to get to them. As for drinks n chat, got to get past the deleted message phase too.. And i DONT do copy n paste efforts.

You are well placed, Glasgow seems to be buzzing jsut now. Keep an eye out for the drink nights, Shelley and others have really ignited the fun times again on the West Coast

View has touched on what I was gonna say actually. Geography certainly seems to be a big part these days with my local area being very quiet for us guys. Searching the DD postcode brings up the same dozen or so profiles daily with most of them having no intentions of reading messages let alone reply to them and ultimately meet. Very frustrating at the moment but I stick with it as every so often a diamond does appear in the rough. It is difficult getting a foot in the door but all we can do is be patient

I could have posted the exact same as fengshui did. I was on the site a few years back and everything online seemed a lot more convivial and reciprocal. Nowadays, I'm lucky if I get a "no thanks" from couples or ladies.

The advice in return seems to be the way things are now - get to the socials. I've been to a couple (thank you Shelly and Sapphire!) and have talked to some lovely people. I've not been deluged with meet requests as a result - not even close - but certainly at least had a decent night out as a result.

Which is better than getting disheartened sending message after message just to watch them lie unread or get deleted without the recipient even looking at my profile. Or arrange a meet just to have the other person delete their profile thirty minutes before you're supposed to meet them and not show up (grr).

And, yes, I also send every message individually not copy/pasted!

I think the best way for a guy to get a meet it even a future meet is putting name down for socials i was always unsure about meeting people off the Internet as you should always be wary but socials are the best way public place lots of lovely people and also a way for people to get to k ow you what you enjoy and to find out what kind of person you are stick with the socials and someone will realise what a genuine person you are and plan that future sexy meet
