I'd post a status update saying 'zombies' then start a thread on fab asking if anyone has witnessed the apocalypse.

If posting in the lounge I'd await the thread to branch off into how these zombies are probably due to immigration. If in Scottish forum, it would be what would zombies have for their dinner.

I'm pretty prepared for most eventualities provided I survive the initial "shit hits the fan" moment.

I have tinned food, a generator, a safe place, access to a boat, a stockpile of easily improvisational weapons, access to an un polluted fresh water source. First aid kits, stockpiles of antibiotics bought whilst travelling. The only thing I don't have is a gun, which if I really wanted it could find but being a tad on the mental side I have resisted.

That said, one day when the shit does hit the fan I'll most likely regret that decision.

Does one start with the grey matter or soft organs or vice versa or does the matter matter at all?? Are zombie swingers allowed to Elite parties? Will CJs have a 'Dead and Dead lovers night!? Who'll do the buffet???

This being dead shit is hard!!

Sorry no booze in my survival plan. If I'm to run out of mood stabiliser medication I need to avoid the stuff. Only baked beans, no fava beans. And alas, no catering during any form of apocalyptic crisis. I'm rescuing my kids, my wee sister and perhaps (if the kids make enough fuss and are genuinely upset at the leaving behind) their Mum. apart from that I'm afraid it's every man and woman for themselves Ickle. The same plan works for mass looting, rioting and general dissolve of society. When the lights go out I expect it wont be long before people turn into animals. I might be paranoid but I'm prepared. Shame however my safe place is over 200 miles away from where I'm currently located. Getting there is the major issue at the moment.

What I've learned while playing Dayz is that it's the other survivors you need to be REALLY wary of. People will kill you for your hat!

Sounds like most people have thought about it but only one person has prepared - if he can survive the 200 mile trip to get to safety - had to chuckle at that.
