North Lanarkshire

Was listening to my iTunes collection today and have a lot of albums and songs from bands who made one good album and then either couldn't replicate it or disappeared entirely!

Examples;

1) Kaiser Chiefs

2) Jet

3) The View

4) The Fratellies

5) Babyshambles

Only a few examples anyone got more?

Ocean colour scene had at least 3 successful albums. Been going 25 years so ad say they are one of Britain's best bands from the 90's.

100 mile high city is great

Chris Helme was his name and he was a busker before Squire spotted him and asked him to an audition (or so the story goes)

Yeah I asked him if it was true and he confirmed it! Played at the pub under the Berisford building on Sauchiehall street!

The View are mince, a watered down The Libertines in my opinion. They do have a couple of good songs mind.

No, not at all I like them all and love the Fannies. The question was about bands who have had one great album (Grand Prix) and found it difficult to follow. Grand Prix was so successful (I prefer songs from Northern Britain) and they never really continued that roll.

Would never dis the Fanclub.
