disclosing place of work

I tend not to disclose my place of work on here but it seems others who know where people work for some reason have told people on forums places in town some singers work. I personally don't think this is acceptable just looking for thoughts??

I think it's absolutely shocking someone can betray anyone's trust especially when people like to remain discreet when playing... Lesson learnt here is never disclose anything you don't want others knowing.

To be quite frank I'd hate for anyone on here to know where I work. It's very rare I tell someone. If I do I'm entrusting a lot of faith in them. I wouldn't expect anyone to say where anyone else works

Yeah I agree with you both I have only told 2 people where I work and tbh one knew already as I knew him so I'm. Confused as to why they would know. My only other thought is this person is someone in a job where they would easily know and is passing info out x

There is no benefit in passing on that sort of info. Discretion from the vanilla world is key for me

After an incident regarding my own private life id say trust no one but yourself with any kind of information .

Always remember those so called friends who smile at you aint always your friends but people who would stab you in the back as quick as look at you

Wouldn't disclose where we work but your OP is kinda specific about where singers work. Are you saying that you are a singer and someone has told people about your place of work?

After past experiences and still going through issues with someone I don't tell anyone about where I work or live for that matter. I tend to meet people near where I stay so they don't know the exact address. It's pathetic how stalker like some people become especially when they've never met you..

A while ago a guy was chatting to me and said he recognised me and mentioned where I work. He was correct but I didn't confirm that, and I certainly didn't recognise him.

He was also using a fake couple profile and had been talking to Mr about a meet. When I told Mr the female didn't exist, he stopped replying.

A little later the couple profile posted our username and said where I worked in their status. Needless to say I reported and blocked, the couple profile was removed.

But the status was up for at least half an hour, anyone looking at local updates would have seen it.

I've never told anyone where I work or live, and never will.

Some people have really issues about there real names. Where the work etc. Personally iv nothing to hide when did enjoying sex become a crime. I understand in certain jobs been descret is important. Think there need to be a bit of trust especially if you meet someone regular. Mabe I'm to trusting ??:

I personally don't disclose this kind of info because of my job. Even with guys I have regular fun with I don't disclose not because I don't trust them but to ensure that should things turn sour or someone chucks the toys out the pram and gets jel of another meet then they can't hold anything like that against me which means I can be stress free whilst being naughty

I think im the opposite as i don't like people knowing anything about me as there is no need.if you were to meet someone on a night out you wouldn't know so no need to advertise it on here.you tell people what you like sexually so i might be nieve but that's what we are here for, friendships are made on meeting and then its your choice to tell then x

I'm wondering how you manage to have conversations without disclosing any private details - nowadays given a bit of basic data most people could find out a huge amount about you

It is easy. You just stay private about your private life and don't ask any questions of anyone else.

I reckon the person who posts below me here works in the Tunnocks Teacake factory and sneaks out some in their bra (change to pants if man)

I will never give this information to someone I don't really know, you never know where it would lead, if anyone betrayed my trust I would not be a happy bunny
