Going tonight as part of my birthday treat and looking forward to it, never been before and don't even know ice hockey rules but shouldn't make a difference I guess haha

Anyone been before? Or going tonight?

Don't worry about not knowing the rules, most of the Clans don't know them either. Lol

Not a Clan fan myself but I love my ice hockey travelling all over the country and the world following the sport.

Clan will be without 2 of their influential players tonight following bans handed down to them from the league for being naughty boys but the game should still be an easy one for them.

Finally, keep an eye out for #3, Smith, he likes a wee fight from time to time.

Watched my 1st ice hockey game 2-3 years ago over in Belfast and have to say got rather bored. The 20 odd kids we had with us loved it but it just seemed to drag on. Just not for me but I'm sure you'll have a great time

Havn't been to a hockey game in years, used to follow the pirates in the doug marsden/ paul hand era.

Doug Marsden disappeared on one of the Greek Islands, it is presumed he died. Paul is doing well.

Geek, glad you enjoyed yourself, hope you'll become a regular, our sport always needs new fans.

Yeah might go more often as the kids loved it too and was good to be able to chat during it too rather than sitting in silence like at the cinema n such

This post brings back my teenage days of crossmalooft ice rink in Glasgow god there were some hot players Then .

Met one recently from Ayrshire was good good talking about old time there lol

Not much of the season left, last weekend in March will be the end of games at teams own rinks then the finals weekend in Nottingham is the Easter weekend. The season will start again late August, early September.

Yeah tonight's game made them champions of the conference which was good, wondered why everyone was singing we are the champions after one goal lol I was like calm down haha

They did, yes, well deserved too. I hope they go on to win the league too, it'd be a bit of a fairly tale ending for them having only been around a few seasons.

many of the fans revert to speedway close season at edinburgh monarchs and glasgow tigers

I'm aware of a very small minority from Edinburgh who do just that. I've never understood why some call them sister sports though, other than underfunded and a team sport, they're nothing alike, all imho off course.
