I (Mrs) was ok before fab. But feel more confident since fab. Realising everybody has bits theyre unsure about but that others appreciate them helps

Not an easy thing to answer as think I'm somewhere in between!

I'm quite a shy person when people first meet me and not very self confident!

The more relaxed I become the more confident I become!

Just wondered because so many say they are shy and not confident enough to attend the likes of clubs, socials and parties and such like and nerves always get the better of them.

I'm def a shy guy when first speaking to someone in any social aspect, but do grow in confidence once I get a better idea of the person I'm talking to. In regards to actually going to a social or club, I'd rather face the fear head on and take the plunge rather than wondering what might have been if i had chickened out.

I suffer from low confidence and am also shy. Wish I could have more confidence as I think it's stopped me from doing and trying so much. Pity they can't teach it as think confidence is just as important as qualifications.

I'm not as confident as I'd like to be. Others seem to have an image of me and are then surprised when they meet me and I'm quite quiet & reserved.

My confidence has grown amazingly since first joining here though at least.

Not confident at all, I am really shy and nerves in crowds and with people I don't know. I do tend to sell my self short and think people don't like me even before I have spoken to them.

I don't jell well with people that are lowed and like to show off.

BUT when I fancy you you Will definitely know it LOL

I tend to be more confident in the bedroom than in social settings

"Do you have high or low confidence? "
I would explain Confidence in two ways ......1) Firstly Inner or Personal Confidence.. Which would be based on a person's self worth, self esteem and self belief. Life events good or back will tend to either increase or reduce a person's Confidence accordingly .........2) Performance Related Confidence .. At 18, i passed my driving test and started to drive. Now with 30 years experience and skill of driving I drive with a high level of confidence developed over these years ....... Hope these two examples might help explain Confidence in different ways .. Cheers ..

Well explained

confidence isnt about walking into a room with your nose in the air and thinking you are better than anyone else ,its about walking into a room and not having to compare yourself anyone else in the first place .

I'd say I have a much better level of confidence now than I've ever had in my life . In my teens and 20s I wasn't comfortable or confident in myself at all . 30s was a little better but when I separated from my husband and started getting out again with friends and went back to study my confidence grew. Fab and people I've met helped a lot with this . I'm still not the most confident woman in the world no . I can and also am shy in certain situations and people don't see that or believe me but I can be . In the bedroom im confident within myself . Whereas years ago I wouldn't even get naked without the light going off . Oh how days have changed

Really shocked at the amount of people who are not confident n shy. Believe in yourself don't put yourself down as plenty of people will do that for you. Everybody is different. Looks for different qualitys in people. Personal I tell people all the time the look good. Love the hair. Men I tell them the smell bloody good. It makes people day. We are a hellva nation for not given or taking compliments well. So start beleaving in yourself people. Mwah Xx

Confidence like everything else comes with practice - we are an adaptable species, the more we do something the easier it becomes to do it next time - I've always thought this stems from the fear of the unknown that everyone (confident or not) has at some point. If we are more switched on to the possible outcomes of a situation then we can adapt next time to allow us to be ourselves within that situation, that gives confidence.

Need to push yourself out your comfort zone to learn confidence.

Others wear a mask of confidence to hide a head full of uncertainty, that strategy is fraught with danger.

Me? I'm confident that I will learn from experience - some of my greatest triumphs have come from my greatest failures xx
