actually jinty makes sense. We only buy long life full fat. Buy a 6pack in cupboard when required. Tastes no different to any other milk. Europeans buy more uht milk than fresh because it doesn't go off as quick.

On a side note... McGinty's idea of keeping some emergency UHT in the cupboard is a good idea. Definitely going to do that.

I akways remember my mother was I was a child kept a tin of dry milk called marvel for emergencies, yuk it was rancid ,some bits floated around ure cup , the memories lol

Omg I remember that. It was truly vile and you had to pile tons in to make coffee remotely milky then you had to chew your way through the lumps. Yuck!
