actually jinty makes sense. We only buy long life full fat. Buy a 6pack in cupboard when required. Tastes no different to any other milk. Europeans buy more uht milk than fresh because it doesn't go off as quick.

Uht in the tea and some toast and suddenly I feel like I am back in France. But always have a back up for the morning cuppa. My wee granny always said.

On a side note... McGinty's idea of keeping some emergency UHT in the cupboard is a good idea. Definitely going to do that.

Omg I remember that. It was truly vile and you had to pile tons in to make coffee remotely milky then you had to chew your way through the lumps. Yuck!
