who would be your ideal Prime Minister, are you happy with the likes of David Cameron, Ed Miliband, Nick Clegg, Danny Alexander and all the jolly hocky-stick brigade

or would you prefer a strong leader like Vladimir Putin, who says it as it is, and leads with an iron fist, you don't see ISIS dare give Russia any hassle do you,

Labour will not win this year and the simple fact is due to the lack of strong leadership, who would be your ideal leader, a leader to lead the UK and put the word Great, back in front of Britain again.

doesn't have to be an MP, just an ideal candidate

the tide is turning very quickly on that account, and very shortly we may see wee Eck standing in as Prime Minister, it sure is a possibility now, and fact is, SNP could run the whole UK far better than any of the jolly-hockey stick brigade, It will not be long until Scotland wins Independence but again I did not post with regards to that aspect, and simply want to point out that we need strong leaders who rule with an iron fist, stand up to Europe and the rest of the world, not the jolly hockey sticks we have right now

"

why? because they came across a captured MiG-21B or MiG23, the whole world can get their hands on Mig's today, doesn't mean to say it came from Russia and even if it did, how old is it!!!!!!!!

Chechnya, Dagestan, Kabardino-Balkaria, Ingushetia and the Republic of Tatarstan. These are republics with a large Muslim population, which have always been attractive places for the terrorists and extremists of every hue. The security services are working hard to prevent the spread of extremism into these areas. Russia lives under the permanent threat of an extremist explosion inside its borders. The spread and strength of ISIS is a direct threat to the internal stability and security of Russia. Contrary to what was said by the ISIS fighters, this is not about threatening “Putin’s throne,” but about endangering the peaceful daily lives of Russians. The tougher and stronger the external threat, the stronger Vladimir Putin’s position inside the country will be

Putin is enhancing his iron man image by arming rebels in crimea which is risking all out war with the West. He is a dangerous man.

None of the party leaders inspire me and that includes Salmond. They are all in it for themselves and none of them seem to have a clue what to do.

While this is not an independence thread i would have thought that oil at $49 a barrel would have made people realise the the Scottish economy would falter with such a drop in income.

I cannot think of a single person who is capable of getting this country back on its feet again. Very sad reflection on today's politicians.

Remind me the price of oil in 1999 and the year 2000, it seems to have slipped my mind, but im sure if oil had been as high as $49 a barrel then, everyone would be swinging with joy

then consider how much it actually costs to produce a barrel of oil, oil companies are still making money, not as much money as Westminster due to Westminster's ridiculously high taxation but they are still making money

Sadly with Osborne being so slow to react many people are losing employment in oil related companies, suppliers etc but then, what the heck, George Osborne makes sure he is alright and that's all that matters isn't it, as long as he and his jolly hockey stick friends are okay.

Personally i reckon Richard Branson would make a good PM. He would sort out a lot of the money troubles, he thinks practically but isn't afraid to dream. Give me a dreamer and a person with a proven track record over an iron fist bully any day.

This has to be the worst pool of political talent ever.....no leadership from Cameron, Milliband devoid of an original thought, and Sturgeon just a puppet spouting playground slogans ,Surely there is a politician with some vision and cajones to emerge soon. xx

Oil prices fluctuate yearly. One year it's $40 the next $140 the oil companies hold everyone to ransom. Stop drilling for 6 months and drop the prices. Then the stronger nations buy up more than they need and stockpile.

Politicians are all just as corrupt.

The UK is on the brink of falling apart.

The Nats win the majority of seats in Scotland and then have a stronger say in Westminster regardless who wins.

That saying England and Wales want Devo for themselves which if allowed will break the Union apart completely.

There is no politician apart from a Dictatorship than will stop it from happening. Let's face it that ain't going to happen

I completely agree. All public schoolboy chinless wonders who wouldn't know how to do a proper days work if their life depended on it. Only interested in getting their latest sound bites in the papers.
